School Age Stage 4.5 (in the big pool) Bridge to Stroke Development
Students in Stage 4.5 develop stroke technique in front crawl and back crawl, and learn the breaststroke kick and butterfly kick and develop these into breaststroke and butterfly. Water safety is reinforced through treading water, elementary backstroke and sidestroke.
Prerequisite Skills: Submerge face underwater, float unassisted on front/back, swim unassisted 10-15 yrds on front/back
